Ecco Boots: Take on Winter Fashionably
Rain, snow, sleet and hail don’t stop moms. My walk to school is a mile–and driving or public transportation isn’t an option. I’ve got to treat my toes right. At the Blogher Conference this summer, I was introduced to ecco. The European brand is based in Denmark and has been crafted extremely high quality shoes for 4 years. Here’s what I’m loving for winter…
If you know anything about Danes it’s probably this: they are ruthless when it comes to both style and substance. Ahh, a brand after my own heart. For the past week, I’ve been trotting around in my new Shiver Wedge Shearling ($200). The 2″ wedge heel has heaps of fashion and yet the rubber sole makes it incredibly comfortable. I’ve been tucking them into my leggings and skinny jeans they hit mid-calf and are so chic.
For dressier occasions, I’m smitten with this shoe/bootie called the Junction Ankle Boot ($175). This one is best paired with matte leggings or tights and a dress. It can take you to any of your holiday parties and you’ll be dancing all night without a hint of discomfort.
And finally, if you want a weekend look that is a standout, the Novelty GTX Ankle Boot in oiled suede ($190) would be perfect with your favorite pair of bootleg jeans. Can’t you just picture heading out to chop down the Christmas tree in these?
